Ivy Creek Recordings Bill Morris and his wife run this label out of North Carolina. Their "Blue Ridge Mountain Music vol. 1" is one of my favorites...simple fiddle/banjo (or sometimes guitar) duets. Great soundtrack for a drive through the mountains. They also have a Carroll Best CD and lots of train-oriented stuff  |
Old Hat Records This small label (also run out of NC) is not just the same old hat. These guys produce the essential (in my opinion) Music from the Lost Provinces. (What a cool name.)  |

WVU Press They only have a few Old-Time releases, but they're good ones! 2 volumes of Edden Hammons and one of John Johnson from Strange Creek, WV (what a great name!) Hopefully there's more to come from this fine label!  |
Burning Wolf Records Home of Betty Vornbrock and the Reed Island Rounders, this label has produced a couple of fine releases, including one of gorgeous twin fiddle duets featuring Betty Vornbrock and J.P. Fraley.  |
