Sugar in the Gourd is supported by our wonderful site sponsors, by other ad revenues (which are fairly miniscule), from my own pocketbook, and by donations from listeners like you.

Expenses include the obvious things like site hosting, stream hosting, Internet connections, but also less-obvious expenses like CD purchases, computer hardware and software, and the electricity needed to keep my home computer running 24x7. The time involved in maintaining the station is obviously unreimbursed and is by far my largest contribution.
