Comments:	Dear John -- What a treasure to find -- as a former old-timey fiddler and guitar picker Sugar In The Gourd took me back forty years to when I played with "The Smokey Run Gourd Spooners" in suburban New York. As you probably know, old-time string band music up north in those days comprised The New Lost City Ramblers and a few folks like me who followed their lead to discover the originals they learned from. Although I moved on to bluegrass and finally into original acoustic and electrified music, there'll always be a place in my heart for exactly the kind of music you've been kind enough to stream for us, and I'm nothing but grateful for what you've done. Comments:	My Mother, the late Anna Belle Carter, my Aunt Maxine Carter, my Uncles Gene And Oliver (Cob) Carter in the 1940's played their music on the Midway Merry go Round radio program in Knoxvile TN. My Grandfather Abe Carter was a cousin ofthe old origonal Carter family. I can remember back 55 years ago when the Carter Family and my family all sit together on the front porch one evening and played their music together all night long.That is the only time i can remember seeing the Carter Family all together like that. Comments:	I sure enjoy having your Live 365 station going whilst I do other tasks on the computer. However, I always have my fiddle within reach, to jam with some of these gem sounds. I played Old Time music when I played with Nebraska O.T. Fiddlers. Since moving to Florida, I have been strictly, with South Florida Bluegrass Assn., and travel to several Florida festivals throughout the winter. I would say that acoustic musicians are my closest friends or "family". I know that my new contactwith you, will help me get in touch with Old Time groups. Like riding a bike, you never forget those old songs. It just takes a little stroking.

Comments:	Hi John, Great site! Wonderful tunes! Where else but net radio could you hear songs that echo our past like these do? It's a shame that our legislators and the mainstream music industry are making it so difficult to produce quality programs such as yours. On a separate note, I know you were active in the Fiddlers Aid benefit for David Bass a year or so ago. Since then I haven't heard much about how he is faring. Have you heard anything?
